Chung-Yong Happy To Assist Or Score
Chung-Yong Lee has revealed that he doesn't mind whether he is scoring or setting up goals as long as he is playing his part in a Bolton Wanderers victory.
The South Korean international has found the net five times this season and on each occasion the Whites have gone on to win the game.
His last strike came against Burnley at the end of January, and although he hasn't managed to hit the target since, his contributions have still been as effective.
Chung-Yong has had eight assists this season, most notably in Kevin Davies' goal against West Ham when his pinpoint crossed was headed past Rob Green.
And this weekend, his excellent slide-rule pass set Fabrice Muamba on his way to his first goal for the club.
"I have still to get a thank-you off Fabrice," smiled Chung-Yong.
"But I'm really just happy for him to score his debut goal at Bolton. Now I hope that more goals will follow for him because he has been playing well.
"It doesn't matter who scores the goals as long as we win. If the team loses then I'm disappointed even if I played well. I feel like I have more energy when we win.
"Being a winger I get as much pleasure helping my team-mates score as I do when I hit the net myself."
